Have we thought about all the images that we are creating through Generative AI that go back on the internet, where they might get scraped again?

ie) What kind of aesthetic deformation or reformation will be happening as these AI-informed iterations mount exponentially over time and become a new layer of general training data for next generation AIs?

I can’t tell if this is like the Droste effect or its exact opposite.
